Bildanalyssystem AB is a Swedish Software Development Company, situated in the beautiful city of Stockholm. We have been in the Image Analysis business since 1988 and has been selling our software successfully on the global market ever since.

our History

Today

Bildanalyssystem AB focuses exclusively on developing advanced image analysis software for the industrial market. With almost yearly major updates, our software continues to evolve, meeting the needs of a global customer base through our network of distributors and direct sales channels.

2011

The medical imaging division of the company was sold to Mawell (later CSAM/Omda), allowing us to fully concentrate on industrial image analysis and refine our product portfolio.

2009

We opened our first international office in London and began expanding into patient image documentation solutions.

2007

Firmly established in both industrial and medical imaging, we merged with Euromed Networks and became the leading provider of imaging solutions in the Nordics.

Early 2000s

We introduced features for telemedicine, which quickly became our flagship product. Sold by Olympus Europe, the solution gained significant attention, particularly in the Nordic countries.

1997

The company relocated to Stockholm and expanded its team with full-time developers. During this time, we began developing hardness testing software for Buehler Ltd in Chicago. Buehler later adopted our Picsara software, marketing it worldwide under the name Omnimet.

1994

Bildanalyssystem AB was officially founded after the original company, Micro Macro AB, was divided into two separate entities. Our focus shifted entirely to developing imaging software.

1989

Our story began when the father-and-son team behind the microscopy vendor company Micro Macro AB developed their first image analysis software, tailored for dental implant research. Shortly after, we expanded into general-purpose imaging software, laying the foundation for our future innovations.
