In almost every lab where there is a a microscope, there is a need to document images. But the needs varies largely for different labs and organizations. In the easiest case you probably just want to capture one or a few images, save it to file, and later use them in some kind of report. In the more advanced scenario, you might have requirement to document all samples analyzed, with thousands or even hundred of thousands images per year.
Almost certainly you want to share your images with others and even with other labs or departments in your organization.

Third party drivers
MIL LICENSE DRIVER
Matrox MIL is needed for some features in the Express/Enterprise version and enables advanced Image Analysis.
Matrox MIL in turn requires a MIL runtime license, in the form a a MIL USB Dongle
When inserting the MIL USB dongle, the driver should install itself. In some circumstaces you might need to install the WiBu Runtime. You can download this software from Wibu.com
Please look for CodeMeter User Runtime for Windows (64 bit)
Allied Vision Cameras
If you use a Allied Vision camera, you need the Vimba 6.0 Driver

IDS IMAGING/ UEYE-Cameras
If you use a IDS-Imaging uEye camera, you need the IDS Software Suite 4.94.x
